I had an amazing run tonight. Simply amazing. After a few hours of constant drizzle here in Georgia, I decided that I had to make a move rain or shine, so I suited up and headed out. Right when I got to the beach, the sun dropped below the cloud level and lit up all the rain drops around me in an incredible glow behind me and to my right that felt otherworldly. This transitioned to a purple to my right, and a deep blue right in front of me. To my left was a gigantic, bright double rainbow over the Atlantic with flocks of seagulls flying all around. I felt like I was iin a sci-fi movie and a unicorn was going to jump out at me or a mermaid would surface and wave to me. Totally awesome. Like the perfect birthday present:) |
