Running Accomplishments:

I don't really keep good track, but here's what I found online:

Canyonlands Half '08: 1:34:35

Cherry Blossom 10 miler '08: 1:10:09 (alias jonathon strong)

Jingle All the Way 10k '08: 41:46

Short-Term Running Goals:

I really need to develop new goals.  It's been a busy year both professionally (field work) and personally (wedding, move,...)

It's time to get back on track and commit to some racing goals for next year.

Long-Term Running Goals:

The long-term goals are much easier--to stay healthy and happy!

Personal:

Live in Broad Run, VA with my wife; work at US Geological Survey.  Baby cat running around to catch mice in our old house.

Okay.  I have been horrible with FRB this month, and I swear to now get back on.  Here is my list of excuses in consecutive order:

-Christmas/New Years busy-ness

-Sick for 1.5 weeks

-In Vermont 5 days last week

I ran when healthy during this time, and will back log when I'm next to my trusty watch.

TODAY: I ran a hearty 6 miles from home looping around to Mountain Road.  I felt nice and strong and look forward to another one tomorrow...weather permitting.

It's nice to have a good run, isn't it? Hope the weather let's you run again!

Thanks--and yes! It's like a dream when you emerge from an extended period of no running. 65 and sunny today--sorta wish it'd stick around.
