Short-Term Running Goals:

I really need to develop new goals.  It's been a busy year both professionally (field work) and personally (wedding, move,...)

It's time to get back on track and commit to some racing goals for next year.

Long-Term Running Goals:

The long-term goals are much easier--to stay healthy and happy! 

Personal:

Live in Broad Run, VA with my wife; work at US Geological Survey.  Baby cat running around to catch mice in our old house.

I was rather pissed off that my alarm didn't go off this morning, which prevented a run with Chill Winston.  So I decided to attack the Wod with my vengence.  12 miles at 8:30 pace.  Psshht...not that impressive, but at this point, it kicked my trash.

It stinks, cuz i'll be outta town for the next month, Randy.  

I guess we'll meet up when the autumn winds are really blowin'.

Completely sore from running/football yesterday, so did a half hour in the pool.

Back in the field again.  Consistent running will be difficult to come by for a while here.  We're drilling an 1100' hole on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake, which translates to approximately one month of on-and-off field work.  I've got the time to run, but a long run after a 12 hour day in the field is less than desireable. 

1 hour weights at the YMCA today.  I also need more muscles to lift drill strings...
