Today I took advantage of the perfect cycling conditions and headed over to the Schaffer Farms trail system. It was a pretty good ride, considering it was my first time in the saddle in many, many months. They improved the trails out there considerably, putting wooden "bridges" down in the muddier spots. The down side is that they cordially put a metal mesh over the wood for gripping purposes, and the stuff acts like a friggin' cheese grater on knees. I found out the hard way and have blood spots on my bike to prove it. |
